The artist Scott Coblentz, is an accomplished metal sculptor, who started his carreer over 2 decades ago making lighthouses from his Bay Area home. Scott's attraction to water, and the natural beauty of the cedar and redwood roots, inspired him to combine his knowledge of copper and his woodworking ability to create a beautiful and unusual combination of the two basic materials. Now residing near Lake Tahoe, this environment provides a perfect setting for creating his work.
